I am an Agricultural Communications major from Henrietta, TX. Throughout high school, I was actively involved in 4-H and FFA, I was a member of the 2011 Texas 4-H Council, and served as an Area IV FFA officer.  While at Texas Tech, I have been actively involved in many different student organizations including, Collegiate 4-H, Collegiate FFA, Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow, Ambassadors for Agriculture, and Agri-Techsans. I currently work as a student assistant in the Dean’s office for the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.  I am passionate about the agriculture industry and doing my part to communicate the importance of agriculture to the public. I strongly believe that everyone should know where their food comes from, and how it gets from the pasture to their plate.
