My name is Haley Butler, and the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources has opened my eyes to something so much more than fields, cattle, and dirt. I’m from a town right outside of Fort Worth called Roanoke Texas; this is where my background of horticulture and floral design started. Getting involved in agriculture classes in my High School was a place I never thought I would find myself until I walked into a greenhouse for the first time and my passion sparked.
Finding your own way in college and finding your career path can be intimidating but never right off something you enjoy doing every day. I love getting to expand on my passion for floral design and horticulture, and CASNR is what helped open my eyes to all the possibilities I almost missed out on.
